Himalayan Motorbike Tours - Rider Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding contract between Riders and Himalayan Motorbike Tours for your participation in any motorbike tour organized by HMT. By participating in the tour, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined below.

1. Rider Eligibility:

1.1 You must be at least 21 years old to participate in our motorbike tours.

1.2 You must possess a valid motorcycle license that is recognized in the country where the tour takes place.

1.3 You are responsible for ensuring your physical and mental fitness for the tour's demands and challenges. HMT reserves the right to deny participation to any rider for safety reasons.

2. Booking and Payments:

2.1 To secure your spot on a tour, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid according to the payment schedule provided.

2.2 Payment can be made via the methods specified on the HMT website or as communicated by our representatives.

3. Cancellations and Refunds:

3.1 In case of cancellation by the Rider:

a) The deposit is non-refundable.

b) Cancellations made within 40 days before the tour start date will result in a cancellation fee of the total tour cost.

c) No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 30 days of the tour start date.

3.2 In case of cancellation by HMT due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of the paid amount will be provided to the Rider.

4. Itinerary and Tour Changes:

4.1 HMT reserves the right to modify tour itineraries, routes, accommodations, and schedules as needed for reasons such as weather, road conditions, safety concerns, or unforeseen events.

4.2 HMT will make reasonable efforts to inform Riders about any significant changes in advance.

5. Riding and Safety:

5.1 Riders must adhere to local traffic laws, follow the guide's instructions, and practice safe riding at all times during the tour.

5.2 Riders must wear appropriate safety gear, including helmets, gloves, and protective clothing while riding.

5.3 Consumption of alcohol or any intoxicating substances before or during riding is strictly prohibited.

6. Insurance:

6.1 Each Rider must have comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical expenses, repatriation, and trip cancellation.

6.2 HMT is not responsible for any medical expenses, injuries, losses, or damages incurred during the tour.

7. Liability:

7.1 Riders understand and acknowledge the inherent risks associated with motorbike riding and release HMT, its employees, guides, and affiliates from any liability for injuries, losses, or damages incurred during the tour.

8. Health and Medical Conditions:

8.1 Riders are responsible for disclosing any pre-existing medical conditions or health concerns that may affect their ability to participate in the tour.

9. Privacy:

9.1 HMT will collect and process personal information by its Privacy Policy, available on the HMT website.

10. Miscellaneous:

10.1 This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Rider and HMT, superseding any prior agreements, understandings, or representations.

10.2 Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the laws, and exclusive jurisdiction shall be vested in the courts.

By participating in a Himalayan Motorbike Tour, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
