Motorbike Ride Trip to Manang is a lifetime dream where trekkers take several days to explore this nature. Now, Manang let you experience the nomadic land of Annapurna Circuit on a motorbike. On this trip one can experience a motorcycle ride to the world highest lake Tilicho Lake. This tour is fun and adventurous ride to the Himalayas for extreme adventure seekers.

Once a trekking destination is now known as a Motorbike Ride Trip to Manang valley. One will get to enjoy whole new level of excitement with the company of Tibetan and Manangi culture. The smile of people and Himalayas with every track ride is something not to miss make the ride more special. On this tour you will ride from turmeric road to the dust and stone road. Furthermore, you will witness the scenery of Annapurna, Nilgiri and Tilicho Range.

This Motorbike Ride Trip to Manang is a short ride of 10 days taking us for one village to another nomadic land. On this trip you will ride on the smooth highway road from Kathmandu to Besisahar. We ride along the Marsayangdi river which leads to less turmeric and more of Adventure road. We will pass through jagat, Chame and visit the village of Tibetan nomadic people. With the blessing of monasteries and chortens on the way we will reach to Manang. From here we can explore further to the Tilicho Lake at 4920 meters above sea level. We will take a short ride to Kangsar village from where we hike to World Highest lake.

This challenging road to manang requires expert bike riding skills. Manang lies in the ultimate rain shadow area of Nepal though we try to avoid rainy season. Best time to be part of this trip is on spring and Autumn. During this time we can enjoy Manang at its best climate and beauty.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Welcome to Kathmandu (1370m) 

Airport transfer and check into the Hotel. A short briefing about the tour will be carried out at the hotel lobby along with the safety and the proper speed to ride on the roads of Nepal. After the briefing, everyone will be handed the keys to the motorcycles and check the bike of their selection by riding around the hotel area.

Overnight at Hotel, Kathmandu 

Day 02: Ride Kathmandu to Jagat (2650m/205kms/7–8hrs)

After Breakfast, Met by the road captain and the rest of the team at the hotel lobby and ride to Jagat.

We negotiate the traffic out of the Kathmandu city and descend to Naubise, 26 kilometer marker (about 17 kilometers from Nagdhunga).We continue riding to Mugling, till we reach Dumre then take a turn for Besisahar and jagat.  The Ride from Besisahar to Jagat (34km/2hrs) is one of the most difficult terrains. The path is a rocky single lane track with stones and occasional waterfalls. Deep gorges and valleys can be seen on the way as there is a gradual change in the scenery. This is a good trail for adventure and thrill seekers who like to challenge themselves. Motor biking on this route is one of the most exhilarating experiences one can be a part of as you pass through many notable settlements en route.

Day 03: Ride Jagat to Manang (3519m/62Km/4hrs)

From Jagat, we will ride out to the valley of Manang. The ride is easy at first and then gets a bit challenging as we move up. As we move forward, we arrive at Pisang village which almost feels like we have time traveled to the past. Beautiful houses and stoned paved path and the fluttering of many prayer flags glorify the natural beauty of Pisang. There are magnificent views of the Annapurna massif against grasslands where wild horses and cattle graze. There is the gradual change in the landscape as we pass through monasteries and small tea houses that offer basic but good accommodation and homely food. About riding for about 4 hours on a difficult challenging road, we arrive at Manang.

Day 04: Excursion around Manang

Today we explore the Manang and ride up to Kangsar which is located at 3745m altitude. We will ride a motorbike up to the Khangsar which takes 40 min.  You may also walk around the village and visit the monastery with your own and hike up to Gangapurna Base Camp (3800m)

Day 05:Ride Manang to Besisahar to Riepe Village (1250m/125km/7hrs)

After breakfast, start the ride by back tracking the same road to Besisahar. The route is rough but is adorned with many waterfalls and natural hot spring and the snaking Marsayangdi River accompanies us throughout. We arrive at Besisahar and continue to Kalimati near Turture, Here we take a right turn via the village of Chisopani and up to the village of Riepe at 1250 m.  The gentle dignity of the community of Reipe is the key to their ecological, pastoral and their self-sufficient way of life.  The little village really stands out for awesome views of Mt. Manaslu and the beautiful Annapurna range and for the pure freshness of the air.

Day 06: Ride Riepe Village to Pokhara (827m/93kms/4hrs)

From the beautiful Riepe Village, we make our way back to Dumre. The mountains disappear as we get back to the lushly forested region. We descend all the way to Dumre, where we join up with the main Kathmandu Pokhara highway. From Dumre we head west following the Marshyangdi River for a while and ride through terraced agricultural lands and small road side villages. At the outskirts of Pokhara, we are greeted with views of the Annapurna Mountain range including the famous Fish Tail Mountain.

Upon arrival at Pokhara check in to the hotel and rest of the day is free to relax or explore around the lakeside.

DAY 07: FREE DAY OR OPTIONAL CITY TOUR POKHARA.

Early morning drive to Sarangkot Sunrise & Mountain View Point. Drive back and have a breakfast. After Breakfast, drive for sightseeing Davis falls, old Market Places and Tibetan Refugee camp. Evening enjoy boating in Phewa Lake and visit Tal Barahi Temple (situated in the middle of the Phewa Lake).

DAY 08: LET’S GET DUSTY –RIDE FROM POKHARA TO NUWAKOT (185kms / 6 hrs)

We head east alongside the Trishuli River as it detours from the highway all the way to Nuwakot. You’ll have the chance to visit the Nuwakot Palace once we arrive at our very special accommodation. We take a short walk to see the 7storey ancient fort palace of Nuwakot.

DAY 09: BACK TO KAT – RIDE FROM NUWAKOT TO KATHMANDU. (70kms / 3 ½ hrs)

After breakfast, we ride from Famous Farm to Kathmandu via Shivpuri Forest Reserve.

Day 10: Final Departure 

After breakfast free until the flight time, later transfer to the airport for the onward flight.
